Moral Dilemma Riddle

I don't know if this one can be called as hard riddle or not, but it's obviously one of the best riddles in my opinion. It's a puzzle that once asked during a job interview, because it can show how someone manage when he has to face a moral dilemma situation. Better yet, this test also can show whether a person can thinking out of the box or not.

So, here goes:

You are driving alone in your two-seats sports car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:

A sick old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
An old friend who once saved your life, and almost late to once in a lifetime meeting.
The perfect man/woman you have been dreaming about.

Question: Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

Hint: You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, if you take one of those persons and come back, there's no way that your perfect dream lover is still there.

Will you choose her over the others?

The Answer

In a moral dilemma, there's no right or wrong in your answer. You can take anyone from those three people, and you're still can be considered as a good person. However, when this question asked during a job interview, one candidate who was hired (out of 2000 applicants) had no trouble of coming up with this answer:

"I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take the lady to the hospital. And I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman of my dreams."
